Israeli based storage tech company XIV has been acquired by IBM for a reported sum of $350 million. XIV was founded in 2002 with $3 million in funding. At the rate at which IBM continues to acquire companies it won’t be much of a shock if they own the technology world again soon.
Maybe next they can pick up the Weather Channel for a cool $5 billion just for fun.
