Domain tasting has clearly become a problem. It has become so bad, Network Solutions even devised a way to profit from “protecting” its customers from it. But according to a confidential informant to the DomainTools blog, Google is going to do something about making domain tasting less profitable.

The rumored new policy would prevent the use of Google Adsense for Domains on domains that are less than 5 days old. The practice of utilizing Adsense for Domains with domains that are still within the 5 day Add Grace Period brought in as much as $3 million for one Google partner. Removing the ability for domain tasters to profit will crush that industry and boost the legitimate industry of Internet publishing and domain registration. Just imagine if domain tasters actually had to pay for there domains…
