Skip the set-top box and bring media directly to the television. That’s Google’s wish and knowing Google, they’ll succeed. Google has made a deal with Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., one of the largest consumer electronics manufacturers to bring online videos directly to a new flat panel television. First versions should see U.S. stores as early as Spring 2008.
