  • You can rename your Wiki page title
  • Delete option for the wikis you created
  • Optional ‘Table of Contents’ for a Wiki page (Headings in the page will be made part of the TOC and linked when you choose that option)

In addition to these upgrades, Zoho has fixed numerous bugs and have plans to improve the navigation system as well.

ZenZui Innovates the Mobile Web

ZenZuiIn a breakthrough for mobile web innovators ZenZui, Microsoft has announced it is financially backing the independent company. ZenZui’s Zooming User Interface literally allows users to zoom into the web - from the uppermost level in which the users sees logos for various websites, all the way down to viewing a single segment of data (a product, news article, etc).

ZenZui has already partnered with some big names (Amazon.com, ABC News, and Wired, for instance) and are even creating custom solutions for some sites, such as flickr.

ZenZui is currently only supported on Windows Mobile phones but in the future they intend to support all phones via J2ME, the mobile version of Java.

Betaflow Codex Launches

As we continue to cover companies it can sometimes become quite difficult to find all of the articles covering a particular company. To solve this problem, we’ve launched the Betaflow Codex!

The Betaflow Codex contains a thumbnail, a basic overview, links to similar company’s within the codex, as well as links to all of our posts concerning that company. We’ll be adding companies to the codex as we cover them, so expect it to grow tremendously.

If you find any discrepancies on the Codex, please feel free to contact us. We are currently working on a system that will allow companies to upload a single XML file to their site that contains basic information about their company. Using this XML file - Betaflow will be able to keep company information correct all the time within the Codex, so keep in touch for word on that!

ToonGum Brings Niche Videos to Cartoonists

ToonGumToongum officially launched it’s social network platform for flash cartoonists today and it’s a surprisingly solid entrant in this yet-to-be tapped niche market. Toongum offers a lot of social features for the creators of the cartoons - although many of them are tucked away within personal profiles and beyond. I’d like to see these social features pulled more to the front of the interface.

In addition to the social features, creators can use their Google AdSense ID to display their own advertisements on the pages. More activity brings increased chances for profits which is a great incentive and should get a solid library of cartoons in their database quickly.

Of course, just like every other video site - you have your embed codes, which allow you to place these videos on your MySpace profile. Right now, the ToonGum website is creeping along a little slow; but, that is probably just due to all of the launch attention. ToonGum definitely has the lead against it’s older competitors, MyToons and ComicSpace - primarily because of it’s innovative and user intuitive interface.

Performancing Metrics Announces… Clicky?

Performancing has just announced the re-release of Performancing Metrics, except it’s not Performancing Metrics. It’s just a rebranded version of Clicky - in which they are surely earning a commission off of each user that ends off selecting the for-profit versions of Clicky.

Performancing Metrics Announces… Clicky?

I know things have been rough in the Performancing camp - especially since there was supposed to be a big sale, but that fell through, and then you had your products all spread out and branded separately (ScribeFire); you lacked the resources to maintain Performancing Metrics yourself - all understandable.

But, to mislead your users by announcing, all of a sudden, a new version of Metrics and it turn out to be nothing more than a ploy to earn affiliate commissions? Sad… do you really need the money that bad?

If having your personal data almost sold to Pay per Post wasn’t bad enough - how much trust do you have for Performancing now?

Update:
More than 5 hours after the announcement and after being ‘called out’ by numerous people, David Krug has now announced that yes they are affiliated with Clicky. This isn’t really news, as the Performancing Metrics site is a tag-for-tag rip of the Clicky website, but at least they are mentioning the relationship now.

David - if you are out there - mind sharing some details of the affiliation?

Zimbra Launches Desktop Office Suite

Zimbra DesktopZimbra, one of the most popular web-based office suites, has just announced Zimbra Desktop - which provides offline access to the AJAX-powered product.

Offering offline access is a growing trend amongst product developers, and obviously a feature the users are longing for. Firefox 3 will be implementing offline access to AJAX applications and a number of other companies are launching their own solutions (Adobe’s Apollo, Joyent’s Slingshot, and Dekoh).

Zimbra Desktop will allow users to access their email, calendar, contacts, and documents while away from an internet connection. When users come back online - all changes are then synced to their online counterparts.
