Pete Cashmore has written an article on the variety of Edge Aggregators on the web today. The majority of these focus on product reviews, not surprisingly as many blogs are nothing more than product reviews from the author. Edgeio seems to have the majority of the buzz at the moment, thanks to it’s release yesterday, and has already spawned a competitor (BlogBuy.com).

I’m interested in seeing where edge aggregators head in the future. I would love to see some more powerful (and useful for me, personally) applications, such as the ones I described in my article “I Only Need One Website.”
